Teen charged with car thefts remanded in custody after failing to answer bail | The Courier

A 20-year-old has been remanded in custody after allegedly stealing a car, cash and other items and failing to appear at court. Lincoln Beswick, from Creswick, appeared in the dock of the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on Monday for the remand hearing. Charge sheets, obtained by The Courier, reveal Beswick allegedly stole a Volkswagen Beetle, entered a storage container with intent to steal, stole $120 cash and attempted to steal tools and bottles of coke in February. In February 2020 he allegedly trespassed into a building with intent to steal while a person was present, stolee a Toyota Rav 4 from Ballarat North, fuel, drove as a learner without a supervisor and drove dangerously.
