Police officer suspended and charged over driving incidents | The Courier

A police officer has been suspended and charged following a number of high-speed driving incidents around Ballarat. The senior constable is alleged to have been caught speeding while on duty on two separate occasions last year. The incidents occurred on consecutive days in April, 2020 but Victoria Police only released the information today. He has been charged with exceeding a speed sign by 35km/h but less than 45km/h in Smythes Creek on April 17, 2020 and driving at a speed dangerous and exceeding a speed sign by 45km/h or more in Ballarat on April 18, 2020.
