Patrons lament hour-long wait times at Ballarat vaccination hub | The Courier

Patrons of Ballarat’s mass vaccination hub have expressed their frustration after what is believed to be a system error forced exceptionally long wait times on Tuesday. The delays were believed to be the result of the central booking hotline double booking appointments, creating a backlog. Some of those that booked were forced to wait more than an hour before they were able to receive their vaccination. Frank Van Der Hoeven travelled from the other side of Daylesford to make his 11.50am appointment, but estimated it took more than two hours by the time he returned to his car.
