James Davis faces court after allegedly driving stolen car into police | The Courier

A man and two teenagers have been remanded in custody after allegedly driving a stolen car into police vehicles in Alfredton and Lucas on Tuesday. One of the accused, James Davis, faced the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, and made no application for bail. According to charge sheets seen by The Courier, he is charged with stealing a sedan worth $36,000 from an address in Lake Gardens on Tuesday, and $40 worth of fuel from a petrol station in Wendouree. He is also charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously while under police pursuit and disqualified, with a separate charge for recklessly engaging in conduct while dangerously driving a stolen vehicle while pursued by police, potentially placing a person…
