After a run of calm and beautiful Autumn days and not a drop of rain in the month of April so far, things are about to go pear shaped for Ballarat weather. After a high of 27 degrees an Thursday, the Bureau of Meteorology is predicting a cool change that will bring a string of showery and cold days with the temperature struggling to even get into double digits on Sunday. The average maximum temperature this month has so far been a benign 24.8°C, a whopping +6.6°C above the long term average of 18.2°C. But that will all change tomorrow with a maximum of 15 and a minimum of 8 degrees as the winds shift to the southwest and a cold front sweeps in that may even bring snow to the high country on the weekend.
