A new community sports pavilion at Victoria Park, with female-friendly change rooms got a timely boost today with the announcement of a $500,000 grant from the Victorian Government’s World Game Facilities Fund.
.
The funding will go towards a $3.25 million City of Ballarat project to construct a new pavilion at the Victoria Park Football (soccer) Club and Lucas Cricket Club Ground.

Mayor of Ballarat, Cr Daniel Moloney, CEO Evan King, Member for Wendouree Juliana Addison MP, along with Sean O’Meara from Victoria Park Vultures FC and Dave Horwood from Lucas Cricket Club inspected the ground, which has also been re-surfaced and will soon get new ground lights.
